Three Legged Hare

Three Legged Hare The Three Legged Hare is a food stall that specializes in creating traditional savory pies, specifically the beloved Runza. This culinary venture has its roots tracing back nearly 70 years to a new bride in Nebraska who learned to make Runzas from a woman of German descent. These delightful buns, filled with meat and cabbage, embody a rich history as they were introduced to America by immigrants over a century ago. The cherished recipe has been lovingly passed down through generations, with the current owner learning the craft from her mother and sharing it with family and friends alike. Inspired by a unique three-legged hare named George, this business aims to celebrate the beauty of diversity through its delicious offerings.
