Jyoti Indian Bistro Girard was a restaurant located on W. Girard Avenue. Despite its popularity among neighbors and customers, Jyoti Girard closed down permanently on January 11th, 2022. However, patrons can still visit their Mt. Airy store located at 7220 Germantown Ave. where gift cards purchased at the now-closed Girard location are still accepted.

To get to the restaurant located on W. Girard Avenue in Philadelphia, you can take the SEPTA bus route 15 or 43 and get off at the nearest stop. Alternatively, you can take the Market-Frankford Line subway and get off at Girard Station, which is a short walk away from the restaurant.
If you are driving, take I-76 E towards Philadelphia and exit onto US-1 N/City Ave. Continue straight onto City Ave until you reach W. Girard Avenue. Turn left onto W. Girard Avenue and continue for about a mile until you reach your destination.
There is limited street parking available near the restaurant, but there are also several paid parking lots nearby that you can use if needed.

Unfortunately, Jyoti Indian Bistro Girard has closed its doors as of January 11th, 2022. However, during its two years of operation, it was a beloved restaurant among the neighbors and customers who gave it a try. Fortunately, Jyoti's Mt. Airy store remains open and will accept any gift cards that were purchased at Girard.
Before its closure, Jyoti Indian Bistro Girard offered authentic Indian cuisine that was sure to satisfy any craving for bold flavors and spices. The restaurant provided dine-in options as well as delivery services for those who preferred to enjoy their meals from the comfort of their own homes.
In addition to their delicious menu items, Jyoti also offered new lines of shelf-stable products that were heat-and-serve and came in a variety of healthy side dishes and entrees. These products were available for purchase at the restaurant and ranged in price from $3.50 to $4.00.
Overall, Jyoti Indian Bistro Girard was a fantastic restaurant that provided excellent food and service to its customers. Although it is no longer open on W. Girard Avenue, we can still enjoy their delicious cuisine at their Mt. Airy location.
