This month is a taste of summer in Chile from Cote of .street.baker with a delicious vegetarian meal.
Dinner starts with Ceviche de Cochayuyo, a special kelp from the coastline of Chile. Entrée is Pastel de choclo, a classic Chilean dish, paired with Ensalada Chilean.
The dessert is one of my favorites, Torta mil hojas, thin cookies layered between manjar (caramelize cream) llamita.vegana is joining Kampar Kitchen with vegan flavors from Peru. Alex made Papa a La Huancaína con Tofu Chorizo.

We hope to offer more vegan and vegetarian option as there has been some request both from our members as well as from our chefs! Each chef on our platform has a mission- to make food of their heritage and share it with all of you. Some work on re-learning their heritage food, some are working on preserving recipes inherited, and some are working hard on veganizing classic dishes.

Today, for Table 22, made bubur ayam (Indonesian-style rice congee) and made Bak Chang (rice dumpling) to celebrate dragon boat festival. These kind of comfort foods and cultural traditions are what our boxes are all about. It’s more than what fills your tummies, it’s food that feeds our souls, and we hope you love it too.
