It’s never too early to start talking turkey, and we are ready to do all the heavy lifting for your Thanksgiving feast this year! 🦃🍂
Pre-orders are now officially open for our farm-fresh, never-frozen, heritage breed 18-20lb turkeys. Each bird is smoked low and slow with cherry wood and comes complete with our house turkey gravy and savory cornbread stuffing. Hosting a smaller crowd? Half turkeys are also available with the exact same setup.
To complete your spread, all of our catering-size sides and signature smoked meats are available to pre-order. From mac and cheese to collard greens to mouth watering brisket and ribs, we got you covered this holiday season.
We’ve streamlined the process this year to make ordering a breeze. Head to our online ordering website and select our dedicated Thanksgiving Menu (which includes the turkeys and all catering items) to secure your feast.

Big changes are happening at Sophie’s BBQ in Havertown! 👀 🔥
As of this past Monday, Four Birds Distilling have wrapped up their time in our space on Darby road.
When one door closes, another one opens—and this one is going to be HUGE. We’ve been working quietly behind the scenes on a massive new partnership to take over the bar space. We can’t officially drop the name just yet, but trust us... you are going to be stoked when you hear who’s moving in.
While we get everything dialed in for this next era, we will be operating strictly as a BYOB for the next 6-8 weeks or so.
Grab your favorite six-packs, bottles of w**e, or spirits, and come crush some BBQ with us. Bonus: our brand-new, non-alcoholic menu is officially live! We’re shaking up scratch-made mocktails like our Orchard Sour and Blackberry Smash, pouring house Mock Sangria by the glass or pitcher (which happens to make the ultimate BYOB mixer), plus Dirty Sodas and specialty teas.

We had a blast cooking for this crew. Thanks for trusting us to do our thing and bringing a fun atmosphere, you guys were great!
We love having dinners like this in the mix. Gives us a chance to do some really creative things with the bbq and give our guests something really unique, fun and most importantly, delicious. 🤤
We’re definitely going to try and work some more private dinners into our routine. Cocktail pairings not required, but definitely recommended. Let us know if you’re into it and we’ll keep you in the loop for the next event!

New Fall menus debuting today in Havertown and Manayunk. We’re super stoked for everyone to try all the new flavors and twists.
Every time we put together a new menu there’s a few things we always aim to accomplish:
1. Push ourselves creatively, but make sure to have something for everyone.
2. Be honest with ourselves about at what we can do better, make those changes and never look back.
3. Work as hard as we can to try and give y’all the best bbq and comfort food around.
