Wednesday marked the inaugural meeting of Milk & Cookies—a new group of SLC members who also identify as moms! M&C aims to serve as a space for collective problem solving, resource sharing, advocacy, support, and fun! We are open to all SLC members who also are moms or caregivers.

Women’s Way Wednesday is BACK! In honor of March being Women’s History Month, at and have teamed up for the second year to present Women’s Way Wednesdays, a weekly pop-up celebrating various women-owned and operated culinary and beverage purveyors, as well as musicians, in the Philadelphia region and beyond.
Stratus Rooftop Lounge will host a different chef every Wednesday from 5:30–8PM. Each chef will present thoughtfully curated small bites in addition to cocktails, brews, global wines, and pastries, plus live entertainment and an interactive meet & greet with featured chefs.

With a new year comes revamped programming! We’re kicking things up a notch this year.
We’re proud to present our new, monthly Happy Hours! On the last Tuesday of each month, we’ll be hosting a happy hour for members and potential new members alike to gather for cocktails, snacks and connection. No BS, just women supporting women!
Join us Monday, February 26 (yes, this one is in fact on a Monday due to scheduling needs) from 5-6:30PM at ! Complimentary snacks and conversation. Drinks for purchase. Let’s do this thing!

We are heartbroken to hear of the passing of member, community leader and dear friend, Charisee McGill. Charisse was a light. A fierce leader, incredible mother, and cherished member of this community, her positivity and charisma will forever live on in our hearts, our industry and with foods.
We are sending our deepest condolences to Charisse’s family, friends and colleagues.

MEMBER HIGHLIGHT✨: Meet Cybille St. Aude-Tate, the co-owner of , and one of our incredible members! Cybille is a Philly based, Haitian-American chef, that, together with her partner , are creating community spaces to celebrate Black and Afrocentric ideologies and lineage through nourishment.
Between her sixteen-year career in the restaurant industry & degree in African American Studies specializing in Caribbean culture & aesthetics in America, she has found her niche in cultivating a relative Caribbean food experience.
