Feeling so grateful today! 💖 We just had to share the sweetest story about Aparna, this adorable girl who wanted nothing but Chicken Biryani from Lilly’s for her birthday. Her family lives about an hour away from us, but they tried our food at a friend’s house and since then, they’ve been hooked! They’ve ordered our Biryani and other South Indian dishes multiple times, just to enjoy the flavors they love.
It truly warms our hearts to see people go the distance to savor our food! 🌟 Our Chef Shijith personally wrote a special ‘Happy Birthday’ note for Aparna, and she was all smiles throughout her celebration. 🎉😊

One of our classic Indian desserts, Ras Malai, on our Dessert menu gets a lot of love! Imagine soft, spongy cheese patties soaked in a creamy milk syrup flavored with cardamom, garnished with ground pistachios (optional) and dried rose petals, evoking the flavors of Kolkata.
This dessert is an absolute classic in Bengal, the Eastern part of India, and the name is combined of two words - Ras, meaning Juice, and Malai, meaning Cream. It is the perfect cooling end to a warm (or a hot) meal, and is a far healthier, tastier, pick than a regular ice cream.

🌟 We are honored to have supported this incredible event for Kadha, a tale that sheds light on the struggles of Malayali immigrants in the 1960s and 1970s that migrated to the States.
🫶At Lilly’s, we believe that our roots are what make us strong, and we’re proud to say that Kerala, the beautiful state where Lilly’s heart belongs, is the driving force behind everything we do. And so, we jumped at the opportunity to sponsor the cocktail hour at the Kadha gala, where we got to serve our community with love and care. ✨🙌
