Sorry for the late announcement, unfortunately Cajun Heroes is now closed and this is our end game.
Running a restaurant is a complicated process; sometimes the best food & customer service is just not enough, a lot of elements needs to come into play to make it work.
We remain super proud of what we put forth and grateful for our team of 3 years. We do not consider this a failure, learned many valuable lessons, met many great people and are ending on a high note!
Thank you to all our loyal customers who supported us! Perhaps another chapter of Cajun Heroes will begin again someday somewhere. All the best! 🫡

Polite, thoughtful, gracious, humble & kind, some of the many great things to describe our dearest CH member Denise aka Wonder Woman. She has been with us for 2 years now & like most of our young staff, Denise will be leaving for school to finish her degree. We are super sad to see her go. She is someone who will always make time to ask how you are doing, never one to leave without saying goodbye or thank you. A hard worker & a problem solver, any issues that comes up, she’s got it under control. Rest assured things are taken care of when Denise is around. She is the daughter, sister, friend, & employee that anyone would be lucky to have!
Thank you Denise for giving our customers the 5🌟treatment (see her name drop on reviews). There are not so easy days but you always handled it with calmness & poise. Thank you for going the extra mile to make sure everything runs smoothly just because you care. There are so many great things to say about you, we can write a book but will have to keep it short & sweet. We love ya & we will miss having you around! 🤗
Denise’s last day will be Aug 15, we know her customer fan base will miss her too. Please stop by ‘til then to show her some 🥰💗💕💝!

What people say
Seafood restaurants are known for their fresh and delicious seafood dishes that are sure to satisfy any seafood lover's cravings. And when it comes to Cajun-style seafood, there's no better place to go than Cajun-Heroes Seafood Boil, Gumbo & Po'Boys in South Street, Philadelphia.
This restaurant has been serving up their famous Cajun seafood boil for over 25 years down south, and now they're bringing the flavors of New Orleans to Philadelphia. Their seafood boil is a must-try, with options to have it served chilled, with dry spices, naked or shake it. The combination of fresh seafood and bold Cajun spices is simply irresistible.
But that's not all they offer. Their gumbo and po'boys are equally delicious and authentic. The gumbo is rich and flavorful, with a perfect balance of spices and ingredients. And their po'boys are stuffed with generous portions of fresh seafood that will leave you feeling satisfied.
The restaurant's location on South Street adds to its charm and makes it a great spot for a casual lunch or dinner with friends or family. Unfortunately, as per their social media post from February 2023, the restaurant has closed down but we can still appreciate the amazing food they offered during their time in business.
Overall, if you're looking for an authentic taste of New Orleans in Philadelphia, look no further than Cajun-Heroes Seafood Boil, Gumbo & Po'Boys on South Street.
