What people say
Sheba’s Soul Plate is a must-visit restaurant for anyone looking for delicious and healthy Caribbean and soul food in Philadelphia. This family-founded afro-Caribbean soul food cart offers great vegetarian options that are sure to satisfy any palate. The father and son duo behind the plate, James and Stephon, have dedicated themselves to providing healthy and delicious food at affordable prices.
James, an educator and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience, along with his wife, opened the vegetarian soul food restaurant Garden of Sheba in Charlottesville back in 2003. Stephon's love for food grew from working at the restaurant and living in a culinary household. He worked in several restaurants all over Philly before deciding to take on the food cart full time with his father.
At Sheba’s Soul Plate, they believe that when you treat your body right, you allow your mind to do so as well. They are grateful for the continuous support they receive from their customers and feel blessed to continue sharing what they love with them.
Located on S 44th Street, this newest Caribbean and soul food cart in Philly is definitely worth a visit. With their dedication to providing healthy and delicious food at affordable prices, Sheba’s Soul Plate is sure to become a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
