Yolanda is Chef Devin’s grandmother and while I (Devs wife, Scarlett) wasn’t lucky enough to meet her, I know how much love and energy she poured and instilled in him. Sometimes we feel people’s ancestors peeking through in all the best ways. I wanted to honor that this week.

As I’m sure our regulars have noticed, Recently my wife Scarlett has joined the Meadowlark team and while she’s always been part of what we do she’s now with us full time. This photo truly embodies who she is and what she brings to everything she does not only at work but as a wife , a mother and a friend. Scarlett puts all she is and everything she has into absolutely everything she creates and this week when she decided to make a special poured her heart into it and truthfully made one of my favorite dishes to ever come out of our kitchen. I’m beyond proud to get to say my wife made that. Incredibly grateful she’s leading the team , so excited for everything she will do next and look forward to watching her share with our Meadowlark family all her amazing qualities the way she does with our family.

To get to Old York Road in Warminster, you can take the SEPTA regional rail line to the Warminster station and transfer to the Route 22 bus heading south towards Willow Grove. Get off at the intersection of Old York Road and Street Road. Alternatively, if driving, take Interstate 276 East and exit onto Route 611 North. Turn left onto Street Road and then turn right onto Old York Road. Parking is available in a lot adjacent to the bakery and café building.
