Time for a little realness.
You’ve probably noticed, but it’s been a bumpy last few months here at the café — a quiet summer, changes to our team and the never-ending construction that feels like it’s multiplying in size and scale every day.
After a fun August in-residence at BOK BAR, we were excited get back to the cafe, into our weekly routine and to pump out a new menu for you to love just as much as you’ve loved everything else.
And truth be told, we actually need some time to recalibrate — from the menu, to our systems, to the team that brings you the experience you’ve come to love. We want to do things right and do things great and right now, we need to take a timeout to do that.
We’ll be closed for the rest of the month and will let you know when to come back for your favorites, so stay tuned here.
Thanks for being here and for understanding how much goes into this labor of love.

Hot off the press:
Closing up shop tomorrow (Friday) + Saturday this week so our team can recoup and reset for a huge month ahead.
Starting Tuesday, the cafe will have limited hours and a limited menu (that’ll still be 🔥, don’t worry) because…
Starting next Wednesday night (and every Wednesday - Sunday in August), you can catch the crew + throwing down some summer seafood shack vibes .
🦀🐙🦞
Menus and hours for the café and for our residency coming soon.
STAY TUNED.

Happy Friday morning, y’all!
We’ll be closed today, since a summer bug’s taken two of our crew down.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Back at it for brunch tomorrow!

WHATAWEEK.
This time, we don’t want the smoke — so, with the forests burning, tankers exploding and I-95 collapsing, it’s time for us to start summering.
Check out our new summer hours — we’re closed on Mondays starting tomorrow (perfect timing, right?)
We’re not exactly sure what will happen in the next little bit with the road closures and how that will affect your commute to us, but for now, stay on Aramingo or Frankford Avenues or Richmond Street. We’ll keep you posted as we hear more.
Stay safe, turn the air filters on, take care of the Earth and see you Tuesday, yuheard?
