One of our own needs their village right now. Rachel and Jason are facing a really difficult medical and financial situation, and we want to help take even a little weight off their shoulders. LOCAL BUSINESS HIGHLIGHT
Players Only Arcade in Bristol!!!!!

Okay, THIS is one I really want people to know about.

It seems this incredibly kindhearted local business may have accidentally made it out of the final edit of someone’s recent video. We’re hoping it was simply an accident, because Players Only Arcade deserves a whole lot of love.

If you haven’t been, Players Only is basically a time machine back to the golden age of arcades. They have 50+ classic arcade games, with favorites like Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Frogger, Q*bert, Mortal Kombat, Centipede, Asteroids, Space Invaders and so many others. Most of the machines are actually from the late ’70s and early ’80s.

And the BEST part? You’re not standing there feeding quarters into every machine. You pay for your time and PLAY, and they were named a Best of Philly 2026 winner.

So this is such a cool place to bring your kids and show them the games WE grew up playing, have a family game day, take a teenager who thinks nothing existed before an Xbox 😂 or just go with your friends and see who still has their Frogger skills.

But here’s what I love even more than the games.

These are people who show up for their community. They have shown support for the autism community, they support other local small businesses, and they continuously use their business to lift other people up. THAT matters to me.

Anyone can open a business. It takes a different kind of person to open one and then turn around and ask, “How can we help everyone around us too?”

They’re located at 201 Radcliffe Street in Bristol.

If you’re looking for something different to do with the kids, a rainy-day activity, a date idea, or you just want to feel like a kid again for a couple hours, GO CHECK THEM OUT.

Our 1st graders started school yesterday, our 7th graders start today, and the preschooler starts next week. I swear it all happens so fast.

Also, is anybody else’s middle schooler suddenly too cool for a first day of school picture? Because apparently that is where we are at over here.

Due to an emergency beyond our control, we will be closed for the remainder of today. (Wed 8/26)We’ll be back tomorrow (Thursday 8/27)at 11 AM as scheduled!

And we have something exciting to come back to… Rachel is officially back! Some of you may remember her from our Croydon location, and we are so happy to have her back with our pickle family.

We’re incredibly grateful that so many of our staff were able to stick with us through everything and return when we reopened.

With Rachel coming back, we’re also going to give Mondays and Tuesdays a try! We’ll see how sales go and adjust from there. And with my kids heading back to school, you’ll definitely be seeing a little more of me around the shop too.

We missed you, Rach. So glad to have you back. 💚

It’s been a little while since we’ve involved ourselves in a community project. These first six weeks of being open have been spent trying to get organized, settled and back on our feet, but we are so excited to finally start giving back again.

One of our amazing customers recently lost a parent and unexpectedly found themselves responsible for funeral expenses. A few of our regulars reached out asking how we could help, so we decided to start here.

From now through September 30, for every dill pickle we sell, whether it’s a jar or a pickle on a stick, $1 will be donated directly to this person.

We will also have a donation jar in the shop and will be accepting V€nm0 donations. We will post the ONLY official link and name ourselves. Please do not send money to any other account, even if it looks similar. We will never ask you for money or post donation links in the comments.

We are also planning a fundraising event at the bar and will share those details very soon.

For now, we are keeping the identity of this incredible customer private because they do not know we are doing this yet.

But we will tell you this: this is the kind of person who has always stepped up to donate, support and help others whenever we’ve held a drive.

Now it’s our turn to show up for them. 💚

We’re hitting the road this fall and we’d love to see you!

We’ll be popping up at events throughout Bucks County and even heading into New Jersey for Cream Ridge Winery.

Missing Monday

Every Monday, we use our platform for something bigger than pickles.
we share a missing child from our area or surrounding communities in hopes that one extra share, one extra set of eyes, or one person recognizing a face can help bring a child home.

Today, we are asking everyone to please look out for 12-year-old Naomi Ortiz.

Naomi was last seen at her home on the 2400 block of North Fairhill Street in Philadelphia at approximately 4 PM on August 18, 2026.

She is described as a Black female, 5’9” tall and approximately 180 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the East Detective Division at 215-686-3243.
