Despite more challenges than ever, weโve increased our outreach & kitchen capacity, have the stronger team of kitchen leaders we ever have, and the food is better than ever. We continue to add partners and collaborators who help us increase our impact & have super strong relationships with orgs who have been with us since the beginning. More than anything though, we keep our focus on the people, the neighborhood, serving each other and reducing waste at every step. We are a strong team with a strong vision of what is possible in this world when we work together and share resources. Want to join this MOVEMENT with us? Sign up for a kitchen shift, but most importantly - if you believe in this work, you have to support it with whatever money you can spare. Do us a solid & make 2025 count! Donate today or join our community fund & help us make an even bigger impact in 2026! ๐ in bio & in our stories!

๐ฎโจ Taco Tuesday โ Peopleโs Kitchen Style โจ๐ฎ
Yesterday, we served up 100 FREE meals that had everyone swooning โ egg & potato breakfast tacos and melt-in-your-mouth tacos de lengua, both topped with vibrant homemade salsa verde. On the side? Flash-fried shish*to peppers and juicy fresh oranges for the perfect finish. ๐ถ๐
The eggs and beef came straight from our friends at โ food raised with care and purpose โ and the cheese was rescued from the South Philly Food Co-op, reminding us just how much abundance already exists when we share.
Big love and gratitude to Paul, who brings deep restaurant roots and serious skill to our kitchen, to Curtis, one of our stellar summer interns, and to all our volunteers, for helping make the magic happen. ๐๐ซโจ
