Dear superb staff and cherish customers,
After 63 incredible years in the diner business we are overwhelmed with gratitude for your unwavering support and loyalty. It has been a privilege to serve you, your family and friends all these years and we are filled with bittersweet emotions as we officially announce our retirement from The Dining Car.
To our dedicated staff, your hard work and dedication have been the heart and soul of this diner. We are forever grateful for your tireless efforts and your unwavering commitment to excellence.
To our loyal customers, you have been more than patrons, you have been Dining Car family. Your smiles have filled the diner with warmth and laughter. There has been hilarity and heartbreak, lessons and fellowship, and it has been an honor to be part of your lives and memories.
As we close this chapter and say goodbye, please know that the memories we have created together will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we thank you for being part of our journey.

Dear Facebook Friends. The Dining Car will be closed tomorrow while the diner is transferred to its new owners. It will open back up Wednesday morning at its regular time of 7:30 am. Please stop by to meet the new owners, Brandon and Ali and welcome into The Dining Car Family.

From there, you can walk south on Frankford Avenue until you reach your destination. Alternatively, if you prefer to drive, there is on-street parking available along Frankford Avenue and several nearby side streets.
