Well it has come to that time friends... ownership HAS officially changed hands and we want to say Bye đ to all of you amazing folks who have made us who we are since 2007!!! â¤ď¸ Thank you to each and every ONE of you who have made us your friends and family over these years....

THE KING IS DEAD. LONG LIVE THE KING. It is with both sadness for what weâre leaving behind and excitement for what the possibilities of the future hold that we announce that the Manayunk Tavern has officially changed hands after a 15 1/2 year run under our watch. We wish the best of luck and decades of success to new owners David and Ana Lee as they grow their JAWN empire. Many thanks and much love to the countless âregularsâ(you know who you are) that made the Tavern so special over the years, many of whom became friends. A special thank you to Adrienne Maitland-Laguda and Joe Laguda for their dedication and hard work in making and maintaining what became the Tavern family. Our decade and a half run on the âbest corner in Philly to see and be seenâ wouldnât have been possible without them.

Happy MLK Jr. day!! Tavern is open for lunch and dinner, cooking up your favorites from 12pm-8pm. If youâre coming in to watch Tom Brady whip it up on the Cowgirls at 8:15pm, last food orders will be taken at 8pm sharp. Have a great day!

McGillin's served green beer (for the Eagles & St. Patrickâs Day) & blue beer (for Villanova) but in its 162 years the historic tavern has NEVER served RED BEER - until today

You can also take the SEPTA bus routes 9, 27, 35, and 61 to Main Street in Manayunk. If you prefer driving, take I-76 W until you get to exit 338 towards City Ave/RT-1.
