York House residents—great news! We’ve partnered with Sharing Excess to offer FREE fresh produce each week.

Produce is available first-come, first-served, so come early!
Sharing Excess is a local nonprofit that rescues surplus food and distributes it to communities in need. We’re proud to bring this healthy, helpful resource to you.

As the weather cools, we’re looking forward to spending time together with a full calendar of fall events. Whether you're into crafts, yoga, or just enjoying good company, we’ve got plenty of activities to keep things lively this month!
A few highlights: we’re honoring our veterans with a Veterans Game Time Luncheon on the 11th, sharing a meal and live music at our Friendsgiving Jazz Luncheon on the 18th, and heading out for a Gospel Lunch Trip on the 15th.

👻 Spooky Season is Here, York House Residents! 🍂
October is all about cozy moments and festive fun, and we’ve lined up some boo-tiful activities just for you! From carving pumpkins on the 7th to getting together for our United Buffet on the 18th, we can't wait to enjoy this hauntingly good time with you.
We’ve got spook-tacular events like the Happy Hour Concert with “Charged Particles” on the 14th and our Aquarium Trip on the 17th, plus our regular Bingo Fridays and Zumba/Chair Yoga sessions to keep the energy alive all month long. And don’t forget to celebrate our YH Fellowship Anniversary on the 21st!

In the midst of the heartache and loss felt amongst our 7400 Roosevelt community, we have a sliver of light amongst the darkness to share.
Today, our dedicated Lindy team discovered two incredible survivors: cats who have miraculously endured almost 20 days without food or water. Thank you to all who aided in their rescue.
We are diligently working to reunite these resilient souls with their owners, reminding us of the power of hope and the unbreakable bond between pets and their families.
In this spirit, let's continue to uplift and support each other as we persevere through these very challenging times. Together, we can find strength in community and compassion.
