Our visit with Chef Chance wouldn’t be complete without talking about his favorite Felt + Fat pieces.
While this is NOT your sign to drop your Felt + Fat mug down a set of stairs, it is your sign to treat your meals like that of a professional chef and serve them in pieces (and colors) that bring them to the next level.

The other day we paid a visit to our pal Chef Chance Aneis of Tabachoy Philly and manongphilly. After cooking up some amazing dishes and experimenting with new plates, we took over a booth to have a bite and talk about his journey. It was a long rambling conversation.
Next week we’ll hear about Chance’s favorite Felt + Fat dishes and talk more about life in our favorite industry.
Thanks Chef!

What happens when we talk to the folks that bring tableware to life with their meals? We sat down with our friend Chance of manongphilly and Tabachoy Philly recently to find out. We had a lot of laughs over a few dishes. More to come!

Hi Friends! It’s been nearly 6 months since our $300k kiln was destroyed by a flood of sprinkler water brought on by freezing pipes this past January, so what’s new?
As of June we have received a check from our insurance company for replacement costs (hurray!). However, we are still waiting on a final check for revenue loss coverage since we lost a lot of product and a lot of business due to the kiln disaster.
We expect to know our final number this month and will be placing an order for replacement kiln as soon as we do! I’m told from the good people at that we should expect delivery in January 2027 if we place our order this month.
More updates to come on the state of the business in general but so many of you have kindly asked about the kiln lately so I thought I should get to it!
If you’re looking to support Felt+Fat, go buy some plates and then tell your friends and your favorite chef to buy plates!
Thanks for your patience as always and for following along. More soon!
