“After 16 incredible years, the time has come for us to say goodbye. Since 2009, Dettera has been more than just a restaurant; it’s been a place of celebration, connection, and community.
To our loyal guests: thank you for letting us be part of your lives. To our faithful employees, past and present: your passion and hard work were the heartbeat of this kitchen and dining room. We are endlessly grateful for the memories we’ve made together in Ambler.
A special thanks to Frank Lutter, who had the vision to open Dettera; none of this would have been possible without you and your endless support throughout our tenure. And to Ashley, my beautiful wife: thank you for your encouragement, support, and patience with
the process over all these years.
Though this chapter has come to an end, we are excited to continue this adventure at , just around the corner at 424 South Bethlehem Pike. There, we will continue to create culinary excellence and many new memories with our guests and employees. We look forward to inviting you into our new home and look forward to seeing you soon!

It’s time for one last pour. 🍷
After 16 incredible years in the heart of Ambler, the lights will dim at Dettera for the last time this weekend. It has been an absolute honor to be the backdrop for your anniversaries, your first dates, and your favorite weekend traditions.
We aren’t saying goodbye without a proper send-off. Come join us for our final three nights of service tomorrow (Thursday), Friday and Saturday. 🍽️
Help us drink the cellar dry and celebrate nearly two decades of memories, flavor, and friendship! Whether you’ve been coming since day one or just discovered us recently, we’d love to see you one last time. 🥂
While we close this chapter on Saturday, the evolution of this space is already underway. Our group is hard at work preparing to debut a brand-new concept right here at 129 E. Butler Ave. Our incredible team from Dettera will be making it’s way over to (give them a follow!) Stay tuned for updates on what’s next for both locations. But for now, let’s make these last three nights at Dettera unforgettable.

Join us Valentine’s Day Weekend!❤️ Our chefs have put together an incredible 4-course prix fixe menu 🍽️
February 13th - We will be offering both our regular a la carte menu AND prix fixe menu. If your party choose the prix fixe menu, we ask that the whole table participates.
Saturday, February 14th - We will be offering the prix fixe menu only. Bar guests may order individual items from the prix fixe menu.
To make sure we can accomodate everyone, we have a $50 cancellation fee that kicks in starting a 4 pm on February 12th.

•Rock Shrimp Mafaldine - Florida rock shrimp, shish*to peppers, tomato butter
•Crispy Jail Island Salmon - Napa cabbage, daikon radish, butternut squash, sweet & sour emulsion

Toast to the new year with a Cranberry Margarita!
Tables are still available for tomorrow night- we will ONLY be offering our four course, pre fixe NYE menu for $100 per person. A la carte dining from this menu will be available for bar guests. We will be closed New Year’s Day… back open at 3 pm with happy hour on Friday. Happy New Year! 🍷
