I actually cannot believe that we are only one week away from Frosty Falls Day! It feels like yesterday I was crying because the pipes were frozen and now we are just days from our official start to the summer. It’s such an honor to have been given an official day in Bridgeport, nobody knew back in 2022 where we would be today. And here we stand, the greatest ice cream shop in Montgomery County. Now this is the kind of weather that I dream about. And we deserve it after the weekend we had. So we’re back in business mode. Tonight we will be hosting a give back for Candlebrook Elementary school. I think my favorite thing about hosting give backs for the little guys is how much fun they get to have running around with their school friends on off hours. You can hear the stomping on the porch and the laughs from the benches and you know all they’re doing is making memories at their favorite ice cream shop. It’s a beautiful day and it’s Mother’s Day. I’ll be honest, I fully acknowledge the fact that days like today are difficult for some. But the truth is that we all entered this world the same way. Screaming, fighting and scared. But we all don’t end up on the same path as we branch off into our own existence. Some of us are mothers and some wish they were. Some of us hate our mothers and others miss theirs so much they would do anything just for one more phone call or hug. Some of us are the mothers to dogs and cats, some of us are the mothers of other people‘s children. It doesn’t matter where you fall on the spectrum, we all come from the same place and we all have someone to thank for the air in our lungs. So today, celebrate yourself. It’s finally May! (Yes, I said that in my Justin Timberlake voice- see the Dirty Pop video for reference) Which means that we are only minutes away from 80° days, 9 pm sunsets and everything else that we love about summer!
It also means it’s the beginning of so many awesome events we have planned. Don’t even get me started on Christmas in July, I may have hired a magician to do a Christmas magic show, but I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s start with the most frustrating promotion that I refuse to give up on. I know I just have to be clear with my words, but I just really like the way that “The Five for $5 on 5/5” rolls off of my tongue. Say it with me two times in a row….See? How can I call it anything else but that it’s perfect. All this will be available open the close on Monday 5–5 only. 
This promotion is for 5 individual items normally priced anywhere from $3 to $5 more marked down to the astonishing price of only $5 a piece. And there’s multiple things that you can get basically for each item. We have 5 cereal killers, 4 chippers, 3 soda floats, and tons of water ice flavors. I will say that all of the water ice quarts will be pre-scooped and once they are gone, we are sold out.

It’s time for a major event announcement! We love partnering with for their River Markets over the years. And we have a lot of amazing events with them to look forward to over the next few months. But I have decided to take a little detour from our normal markets for one night and would like to invite LGBTQ+ businesses from all over to join us at Frosty Falls for our first ever Pride On The River! We will have arts and crafts activities for kids of all ages, food and ice cream specials at the shop, music, shopping and most importantly-love and fun for everyone that joins us. For public transport, take the bus to Dekalb Street in Bridgeport and get off at the stop closest to Second Avenue. From there, walk south on Dekalb Street until you reach the ice cream shop and ice cream parlor on your left and the restaurant on your right.
For driving/parking, take Route 202 to Bridgeport and turn onto Dekalb Street. If coming from the north, turn left onto Second Avenue and then park either on the street or in the parking lot of the nearby businesses.
