Nonna's Pizza Tavern, an American restaurant and pizza place located on Germantown Avenue, was known for its killer pizza, awesome food, and local craft beer and wine. The restaurant had a loyal following, as evidenced by social media posts raving about the great pizza chef and the amazing support from customers during Covid-19. However, in early 2021, Nonna's Pizza Tavern made the decision to close for the day for staff safety reasons. Sadly, it has since been permanently closed.

To get to Germantown Avenue in Philadelphia, you can take the SEPTA bus route 23 or 53 which stops at various points along Germantown Avenue. Alternatively, you can take the Chestnut Hill West regional rail line to the Germantown station and walk a few blocks to Germantown Avenue.
If driving, take I-76 East towards Philadelphia and exit onto Lincoln Drive. Follow Lincoln Drive until it becomes Wissahickon Avenue and turn right onto Germantown Avenue. There is street parking available along Germantown Avenue and nearby side streets.
