Captain D's Captain D’s is a family-style seafood restaurant in Richmond, VA with a long-standing history dating back to its opening on August 15, 1969. Part of a historic seafood tradition, the restaurant traces its roots to its early days as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers in Donelson, Tennessee. Known for freshly prepared seafood served at great value, Captain D’s has maintained its core mission of delivering quality seafood meals at reasonable prices for more than 50 years. The street location is on Williamsburg Road.

By public transport
- Use Greater Richmond Transit Company (GRTC) bus service to reach the Williamsburg Rd corridor.
- From your nearest GRTC stop on/near Williamsburg Rd, walk along Williamsburg Rd toward the restaurant location. If you’re coming from downtown, take a bus heading toward the west/southwest along Broad St or other routes that connect to Williamsburg Rd, then transfer as needed to get closest to your stop.

By driving
- From I-64/I-95: follow signs for US-60 West (toward Midlothian/West End) and merge onto or connect with Williamsburg Rd.
- Continue on Williamsburg Rd until you reach the Captain D’s location at 1230 W. Williamsburg Rd, Richmond, VA 23220.
- Parking: use the on-site parking lot in front/around the building; spaces are typically available for customers.

Parking tips
- Park in marked customer spaces and allow extra time during peak hours/weekends when nearby traffic is heavier on Williamsburg Rd.
