Thank you to everyone who attended the gathering for Rich Colli on Friday. Rich was also the main person who ran all the Philly Loves Beer social media accounts, as well as, Philly Beer Week setup.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rich Colli. If you know Varga then you know Rich. He was the center of the Philly beer community - hosting events at Varga, getting hundreds of us to gather for a tailgate and baseball game, and making sure that beer week is a time to remember. If we’ve learned anything over the last 24 hours, it’s how deeply he loved and was loved. He was an incredible son, brother, friend, colleague, and confidant and our days will be a little more dull without him.
A service will be held at McCann Healey Funeral Home in Gloucester, NJ, on Friday, February 28 from 10am - 11:30am to honor his memory. Following the service, we invite everyone to join us for a Celebration of Life at Varga from 2pm to 5pm. This will be an opportunity to share stories, memories, and raise a glass in his honor.
Let us come together to celebrate his life and the impact he had on our community. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and the memories we shared with him.

Mark your calendars, Sunday, March 2nd, 6pm. Oscars Party with sound on ! Get your suits & gowns dry cleaned! You don’t have to dress up to come have fun for the Oscars, but if you want to… we will our own RED CARPET to take pics on! Awards will be given out, prizes will be won! Drink specials, food specials! Maybe in a tuxedo, who knows!

We are a couple days late, but we didn’t want our post drowned out by all the great Eagles Super Bowl parade posts. We wanna wish ’s Chef Mason a Happy Belated Birthday! Our present to him? Letting him pick the picture we posted of him! Haha. Stop in, grab one of his delicious creations… and buy him a shot of whiskey! Cheers!

Our did it! They are World Champs! Friday, they will be hoisting the Lombardi Trophy during the parade down Broad St, and will be pouring it up in celebration! We are opening 11am, with all the food, drink, and EAGLES chants you NEED!
Couple odds & ends you will need to know:
-Everyone must be 21+ with valid ID
-NO backpacks, NO exceptions
-NO outside food or drink of any kind (that means, no ‘coffee’ cups, sorry)
-We will not let anyone who is visibly intoxicated in, and if you become visibly intoxicated, you’ll have to leave.
-your ride share is gonna be astronomically priced and take forever to get you… and public transit will be overwhelmed like you haven’t seen since the 2018 Eagles parade, plan accordingly.
-take care of your friends & strangers alike
-keep our city clean
-Be polite & have fun!

It’s here… Super Bowl LIX. We managed to not get Cease & Desisted again by the this year…yet. It’s the last game of the season. We win, we have a parade down Broad St. In order to be the best, we gotta beat the best… it’s OUR taking on the in New Orleans. 630pm. Tomorrow.
Table & Bar tickets are sold out. We are moving some things around, and putting some high top tables in for a Standing Room Only section, and still have some tickets left for that (at the time of this post). Reach out on here, or call the restaurant after we open to get your SRO ticket today! If we sell out, we will be closed to the public.
