This bridal shower was one for the books!

This is what happens when a local venue refers your decor services to two family members who lives in different states, while the Bride-to-Be lives here in Maryland. Neither client had heard of A Vision from Shaye (A Vision from Shaye) and went solely on the referral and what they saw on our social media and website. They told us what they wanted-in detail- and trusted us to deliver.

Part 2…. If last week was 2022 It would have definitely been the thing that broke the camels back.
Last Friday my car died. Mind you I was without my car for 7 months.
We still had to open Friday & Saturday .
Sunday , I did w**e on the water .
Monday baby girl to school and new starter installed.
Friday come outside window smashed and car broken into.
We opened as scheduled .
Saturday morning catering order and window fixed.
Let me say when I saw the broken window the tears of the soul rolled . I gave myself a minute and then I thought about my bible reading from that morning 2 Chronicles 20:12,15, 17 when King Jehoshaphat faces an army ..
King Jehoshaphat had several armies up against him . He was facing something he knew he did not have the strength to handle . He needed a new strategy.
Basically he said : “God , I don’t have the power for this.
I don’t know what to do. But my eyes on YOU.”

With that I gathered myself gave it God and moved accordingly.

For in 2022 before I packed up my business and eventually my life .I would pull up to My Mama’s Vegan and wonder if this would be the day I would never open again.

One of the things that definitely made my brand successful was that I know how to show up! When I am uncomfortable, when I don’t know what the hell I am doing , when I am tired , when I am happy , when I am joyful etc. My own bar is set for my own expectation. I am giving whatever I commit to everything I got ! ( whew ) in the rebuild tho we do it differently..

Last week I did like King Jehoshaphat I showed up , took my position, stood firm and watched God work!
In this season of rebuilding I know that I need a new strategy and it’s not leaning on my own understanding but on God..
I say this to say sometime you still have to just show up , stand firm , trust God and let him work .
