Each year on August 22nd, we celebrate the life of our son, Vincenzo “Enzo” Luciano Falco. Enzo was with us for two wonderful months, spending all of his life at CHOP. We are blessed to have the time we did with him and want to continue to honor his legacy by helping others in similar situations. Enzo would have been 2 years old this year and it’ll be our 2nd annual Enzo’s Day.
For this day, we donate 22% of all our sales for the entire day to the Down Syndrome Clinic at CHOP. Enzo was diagnosed with Down Syndrome before he was born and would have spent his life as a part of this clinic, so we think he would have loved to have part of his legacy be helping other children that would have been his friends there.
This year, we are honored to have a bunch of our industry friends coming out to help us raise even more money. Throughout the day we’ll have food and drink pop-ups with a portion of each going to CHOP. Swipe through the slides to see the full lineup.
We’ll also have a station setup for the kids to decorate cards to send to the NICU. One day during our stay Enzo received a bunch of cards from strangers and it brought some much needed joy to the day, so we would like to pass that joy on to other families in similar situations.

This coming Monday, August 11th, we’re partnering up with our friends Pitruco Pizza & Local Operator Wine for a special night of pizza and wine. Pitruco is pulling up their truck at 6:00 pm with their full pizza menu as well as bringing back some long lost favorites like their meatball sandwich. To pair with the pizzas, Ken from Local Operator Wine has picked out some rarities and not often poured by the glass options to serve, with some special bottles being cracked open randomly through the night. A limited coffee menu will be available. Pizza will be available till sellout and wines pouring till 10:00.
Pizza and wine is PAYG with pizza being ordered at the Pitruco truck. No tickets or reservations.

Jeff Bartash of T Edwards Wines will be here guiding us through 6 six different wines from across the globe, that showcase these uncommon varietals. We’re starting a wine club! Want to try new wines not featured on our shelves? You can choose either 2 or 4 bottles per month and we’ll host a pickup party the first Monday of every month where you can come sample and learn more about this months wines, along with some other wines from the same importer.
Members will also receive a 10% discount to shop the entire market during the pickup party. In addition, members will also receive early access to our other wine events throughout the year.

Herman’s wine shop is now open. We are soft launching our wine shop today with a small selection of wines curated with the help of Dan Miller. We have just over 50 wines to start with another 50 or so to be added over the next couple weeks. Bottles are available to go everyday we’re open starting at 7am.

To get to S 3rd Street in Philadelphia using public transport, you can take the SEPTA bus route 47 or 57 and get off at South Street. From there, walk south for a couple of blocks until you reach S 3rd Street. Alternatively, you can take the SEPTA Market-Frankford Line and get off at the 2nd Street Station. Walk east towards Front St., then turn left on S Spruce St. and continue straight until you reach S 3rd St.
If driving, head towards S 3rd Street and look for parking in the surrounding streets or nearby parking garages such as Bourse Garage or Parkominium. Please note that parking in this area may be limited and expensive during peak hours.
