Dearest Dinor Family & Followers,

Typically when I write a post for the Dinor, I use words like “we” and “us” because the Dinor has never been about me, it’s been about my team, our guests, or friends and our community. But today, it’s just me writing and I have some things to say.

Let’s get the speculation out of the way. I’m not selling because I’ve tanked the Dinor, quite the opposite, actually. I’m not selling because the Dinor is in financial peril. It’s not. I’m not selling because running three companies is too difficult for me. It’s not.

I’m selling because this is a choice I’ve made.

Owning and operating the Dinor has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. This little Silk City landmark has fed generations of families, hosted countless early mornings and late breakfasts and lunches, and carried a history far bigger than any one person.

When I took the keys, my goal was simple: honor the legacy of the Dinor while serving great food to the community that loves it.

I’m incredibly proud of the work that’s been done and grateful for every guest, team member, and friend who has supported me along the way. And I’m even grateful for those who didn’t, for every setback and challenge to overcome, because they made me work harder. It takes thick skin to read what people who don’t even know you write about you on the internet, to learn from it, grow from it, and accept that criticism with grace.

This historic Dinor has been an important part of the community for decades, and it has been an honor to be part of its story. While this decision wasn’t easy, it is the right step for me and my family as I focus my time and energy on the next chapter and new endeavors closer to home.

I am hopeful the next owner will continue the Dinor’s legacy and keep this beloved local landmark serving the community for years to come.

Please know that it will be business as usual, the Dinor WILL NOT close.
