Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard was a popular ice cream shop and ice cream parlor that operated in 31 states with over 600 shops. Offering a variety of frozen treats including their famous Italian Ice, Frozen Custard, Milkshakes, Sundaes, and more, Rita's was known for its delightful and unique treat experience. The business started in 1984 when Bob Tumolo began selling Italian Ice from a small porch window in Bensalem, PA. With the goal of earning extra income, he named the business after his wife, RITA. Today, Rita's continued to grow and spread happiness before ultimately closing its doors permanently.

1. From Drexel Hill Station, walk south on Burmont Road towards Township Line Road.
2. Turn left onto Township Line Road.
3. Continue walking for about 0.2 miles until you reach your destination.
Driving/Parking:
1. If coming from the north, take I-476 S and exit at Exit 9 for US-3 E/West Chester Pike towards Broomall/Newtown Square.
2. Keep right at the fork and follow signs for PA-3 E/West Chester Pike.
3. Merge onto PA-3 E/West Chester Pike and continue for about 1 mile.
4. Turn right onto State Road, then turn left onto Township Line Road.
5. Continue driving on Township Line Road for about 0.7 miles until you reach your destination.
