What people say
Not Just Pizza, located on S 11th Street in Philadelphia, has received mixed reviews from various sources. The most recent review comes from the Philadelphia Inquirer, which gave the restaurant a rating of two out of four stars in February 2021. The reviewer noted that while the pizza was decent, the other menu items were lackluster and overpriced.
A more positive review came from Philadelphia Magazine in August 2020, which praised Not Just Pizza's "crispy crust" and "generous toppings." However, the magazine did note that some of the specialty pizzas were hit or miss.
Online reviews are also mixed. On Yelp, Not Just Pizza has an overall rating of three out of five stars based on 118 reviews as of May 2021. Some customers rave about the pizza, with one user writing, "The pizza is amazing! Crust is crispy and sauce is flavorful." Others have had negative experiences with both the food and service. One customer wrote, "The pizza was undercooked and tasted like cardboard."
On Google Reviews, Not Just Pizza has an overall rating of 3.8 out of five stars based on 184 reviews as of May 2021. Customers seem to agree that the pizza is good but have mixed opinions on other menu items. One user wrote, "Pizza was great but everything else we ordered was just okay."
Overall, it seems that Not Just Pizza's pizza is its strongest offering but that other menu items may be hit or miss. Prices may also be a concern for some customers who feel that they are too high for what they receive.
Customer comments published online include:
- "I've been coming here for years and their pizza never disappoints."
- "The service was slow and our food took forever to come out."
- "I tried one of their specialty pizzas and it wasn't anything special."
- "Their garlic knots are amazing!"
- "I was disappointed with the quality of the toppings on my pizza."
In conclusion, while Not Just Pizza has received mixed reviews, it seems that their pizza is worth a try. However, customers may want to be cautious when ordering other menu items and be prepared for higher prices.
