Well, today's my last day.
I sincerely thank everyone who responded to my post announcing the deli closing. And thanks to all of you who came in for "one last" sandwich, wrap or hoagie. Anyone who waited for today may have slim pickings for lunch, but I do have a bunch of food I need to sell, so stop on by, we'll make it work.
Btw, I have a doctor's appt this am, will be closed from 8:15 to 11 am~sorry, but you have to take specialists appts when you can..

Say goodbye to these delicious items! Becky's Newtown Deli will close its doors for good next Friday, August 27th. It has been my pleasure to watch you all grow up, or watch your kids grow up, and share your happy and sad times. Taking a little time for myself then who knows where I'll pop up next....😊
Thanks to those of you who have stuck with me through the years and for those who have just discovered me, darn it, you were late to the party 🎈

Good Monday morning, it's steamy outside already! There's an excessive heat warning for today, temperatures in the low 90s and heat index reaching over 100. There's a chance of thunderstorms later this afternoon into this evening. It must be July in the Delaware Valley....

This hot weather says "HOAGIES!" No cooking, first off... Savory meats and cheeses lovingly assembled on an Italian roll with shredded lettuce, very thinly sliced onions and red, ripe plum tomatoes, seasonings, YUM!
It's a meal - with salad- on a roll. Perfect.
