Honey crisp apple scones!
3 cups flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
1Tablespoon baking powder
1 stick of butter
Mix these together with a pastry cutter, like you are making biscuits. In a separate bowl mix together.
1/3 cup apple cider
3 eggs
1 Tablespoon vanilla
add to the flour mixture, and mix together. You should have a dough that resembles biscuits. In a separate bowl mix.
1 medium apple ( diced )
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 & 1/2 teaspoons Cinnamon
Mix into your dough, your dough will now feel like a wet sticky biscuit dough. Now press out onto a parchment lined sheet pan, forming an 8" circle. cut it in 8 equal pieces like a pie, then rearrange on your sheet pan giving them enough room to bake. Place this sheet pan onto another sheet pan ( giving you a double pan barrier ) and place in a 375* oven for 18 - 20 minutes. Then make a simple glaze out of powder sugar and water to brush on top after they are baked.
Just thought I would include a recipe this time. I hope everyone enjoys this.
