We would like to thank our loyal guests and the East Passyunk community for the love and support you extended to us over the past ten years. Closing yesterday was bittersweet, but an opportunity arose, and we decided it was in our best interests. We have always strived to provide great food and service to our guests, whom we consider our extended family. That said, none of this would have been achieved without the support of our dedicated staff. We will hold the memories of the last ten years in our hearts. It was an honor and pleasure to serve you.

Sincerely,

Lynn Rinaldi and Corey Baver

What people say

Sushi restaurants are known for their fresh and delicious seafood, expertly prepared by skilled chefs. IzumI Restaurant on E Passyunk Avenue in Philadelphia is no exception. Despite the restaurant's recent closure, we can still appreciate the ten years of great food and service they provided to their loyal guests and the East Passyunk community.

IzumI Restaurant was a favorite among sushi lovers, offering a wide variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes. Their dedication to providing great food and service to their guests made them stand out from other sushi restaurants in the area. Whether you were looking for a romantic dinner or a fun night out with friends, IzumI Restaurant was always a great choice.

One thing that set IzumI Restaurant apart was their willingness to stay open during inclement weather. They encouraged diners to brave the snow and wind and join them for dinner, showing their commitment to providing excellent service no matter what.

If you were looking for something different during the holidays, IzumI Restaurant was also there for you. They offered a not-so-traditional Christmas Eve menu featuring seven fishes and more. And if you were already invited somewhere else but still wanted some delicious sushi, they even had party trays available.

Overall, IzumI Restaurant was a beloved sushi spot in Philadelphia that will be missed by many. We can only hope that Lynn Rinaldi and Corey Baver will continue to provide great food and service in whatever new venture they pursue.
