Quick note before I do the specials, and summer ends, we will be closed on Monday the 7th. For those of you dealing with the back to school stuff, you have my condolences. Plus side though, your house is about to be much quieter during the day. I digress. Next weeks specials and we think you're really going to enjoy them.
1. French Onion Soup. House made croutons, topped with Swiss and mozzarella cheeses.
2. Applesauce and oatmeal muffin. No need to say it twice.
3. Andouille chicken sausage omelet. Star of this one is, you guessed it, a nice smoky andouille sausage made from chicken. It will be sauteed with onions, peppers and tomatoes, then finished with extra sharp white cheddar, Crystal hot and chives.
4. Hot Italian Beef. This one is so much more than that. Grilled rosemary/parmesan Italian bread topped with Swiss cheese, creamy giardiniera, stewed green pepper and beef cooked to order. Test kitchen reviews on this one were very high.
As always, we thank you for choosing us. Bound to see some new faces in the coming weeks as we replace the young people who have gone back/off to school. Have a great weekend and week. We look forward to serving you soon.

Let's do a quick rundown of next week's specials before we all have to get into our arks!
1. Chicken Noodle was a big hit so we're letting it run another week.
2. Espresso and chocolate chip muffin.
3. Tex Mex Benny. Thomas' English muffin topped with avocado, chorizo, poached eggs and jalapeno hollandaise. This is a new creation for us and is loaded with flavor.
4. Bagel turkey melt. Your choice of plain, everything or sesame bagel. Grilled turkey, applewood smoked bacon, Swiss cheese and house made sundried tomato mayo. Really nice mixture of salty, sweet and savory on this one.
Be careful out there. I can hardly see across the street as I'm typing this. Have a wonderful weekend and week. Good luck with all the back to school stuff if you're going through it!

Every once in a while we do a week of specials that we've done before because you all liked them so much. You can call them fan favorites or classics or whatever you want. They always sell well and we get lots of comments like "That should be on the menu all the time". This is that week. Starting tomorrow at 7 we have for you the following:
1. Roasted Broccoli and Cheddar Omelet. Just like it sounds with some scallions added in to the pan for a little extra flavor.
2. Bacon Jam Burger. Our hand formed Angus patty cooked to your desired degree of doneness. Served on a toasted brioche bun with Cooper sharp cheese and our bacon that everyone enjoys so much.
3. Homestyle Chicken Noodle. Also just like it sounds. Smelled like my grandmother's kitchen as we prepared it today.
4. Blueberry & Lemon Muffin.
For you sports, in case you weren't aware, the Phillies are playing the Field of Dreams game in Iowa tonight. Should be a lot of fun.
Enjoy your weekend and week. We look forward to seeing you soon.

This is going to be a long one today but it's a great read. Some of you already know that Alex has moved on (his last day was yesterday) but I'm guessing most of you don't. His time with us has been very special to me and the entire staff. In addition to being an excellent cook, he is a fine young man and a great father. As I told him yesterday, he has left an indelible mark on our hearts and will be sorely missed. We wish him all the success in whatever he chooses next. I have no doubt he will find that success.
Also leaving us next Monday is Jake, our culinary student who has been working in the kitchen this summer. He is headed back to school for hihs second year. As his final project with us, he has created and executed the specials for the week! Without further ado, Jake's specials that begin tomorrow:
1. Creamy Sausage and Tortellini soup. A mix of hot and sweet sausage in a velvety broth with tri color cheese tortellini.
2. Chocolate chip and raspberry swirl muffin.
3. Peanut butter and chocolate chip pancakes. Our sweet cream, buttermilk pancakes infused with peanut butter powder (did not know that was a thing until he ran it by me) and Hershey's chocolate chips. Topped with house made peanut butter whipped cream and a mini Reese's peanut butter cup.
4. Pork and beef gyro wrap. We made a meatloaf with pork and ground beef and we'll slice it real thin and flash it on the grill. It will then go on our whole wheat wrap with house made tzatziki, tomato, onion, feta and fries.
Hope you guys made it to the end. Thanks for reading. Feel free to share on your own pages. Have a great week and weekend and stay hydrated!

Amazing how quickly were about halfway through summer. I hope you all are getting to go out and on vacations. I've had a couple mini ones so I'm probably all done for a while. I've got some specials to tell you about.
1. Peach cobbler muffin. Locally grown peaches in our muffin batter with a brown sugar and cinnamon crumble on top.
2. Italian Wedding Soup. Mini meatballs, carrots, celery, escarole and orzo in a savory broth.
3. Pork Belly Omelet. House roasted pork belly, scallions and manchego cheese all folded in to our three egg omelet. Finished with a Licor 43 glaze and includes your choice of potatoes, tomato slices or fruit.
4. Tex Mex Smash Burger. Two 4 ounce patties smashed into the grill with avocado, cheddar cheese, grilled jalapeños and salsa. Served on a grilled brioche bun.
Have a great weekend and week. We look forward to serving you soon.

Christmas in July is here, so many of you might know at least one of the specials that are coming. For those of you who don't, let's get right to it.
New England Clam Chowder. A Frajerman family Christmas eve tradition for decades.
Red Velvet Muffin. Strawberry icing and a fresh strawberry on top.
Strawberry/Banana Bread French Toast. Two slices of our house made strawberry/banana bread dipped into our batter and grilled to golden brown. Finished with a couple shots of whipped cream.
Turkey and Brie. But much more than that as we make your sandwich on sourdough bread with dijon mustard, house made cranberry sauce, romaine lettuce and of course, double cream brie.
Whatever you do this week I hope you enjoy yourself. Thank you for your business and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

This is going to be a short, "better late than never" post. I got involved in a project that went way longer than I thought it would. It ended well, but still way too long.
We had an international theme in our minds, so here we go:
Elote & Chicken Omelet. Mexican street corn, fresh roasted, with boneless chicken chunks and finished with queso fresco.
Bullard's Bocadillo. A mashup of a couple famous Spanish sandwiches. Ours will have center cut pork tenderloin medallions, ham off the bone, manchego cheese and a house made tomato/olive tapenade. All assembled on grilled multigrain bread.
Mongolian Beef Soup.
American apple pie muffin.
I'm going to bed. Hope to see you all soon!

Good afternoon everyone. Hope you all had a nice July 4th weekend. I've got some new specials to tell you about. For a change, I will be brief.....
1. Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. Lot of requests to bring this one back. Our sweet cream buttermilk pancake batter with fresh squeezed lemon juice and ricotta whipped in. Deliciously light and fresh.
2. Pulled Chicken w/White Sauce. Also commonly called "Alabama White Sauce" it's a creamy and tangy sauce that will hold our hold our house made pulled chicken together. It will be topped with fried pickles and muenster cheese and served on a toasted brioche bun.
3. Pineapple Upside Down Cake. We were going to make this into a muffin but decided to just make a cake and cut into nice squares for you.
4. Creamy Chicken and Vegetable Soup. No disrespect to the soup but this one is self explanatory.
As always, thank you for reading and keeping us on our toes. Have a great weekend and week and we look forward to serving you soon.

I just wanted to mention real quick that we are closed on Saturday, July 4th. Regular hours Friday and Sunday still apply. I'm expecting everyone to eat their weight in burgers and dogs for the next few days so of course we went the other way. Allow me to introduce the Bubba Gump week of specials......
1. Seafood Newburg Omelet, featuring SHRIMP, crab and surimi (fancy word for fake crab, which I happen to love and also helps us keep the price down for you). Newburg sauce is an old school cream sauce with seafood stock, cream, sherry and some fresh herbs. Absolutely delicious.
2. Firecracker SHRIMP Melt. Two pieces of grilled sourdough topped with the newburg sauce, fresh grilled SHRIMP, grilled tomato and pepper jack cheese. It's finished with firecracker sauce (spicy and sweet) after spending some time in the broiler melting.
3. SHRIMP, rice, coconut and lime soup.
4. SHRIMP Scampi muffin. If you're still reading, that's fake. It would be disgusting. The acutal muffin is coconut and lime.
I know I say it all the time but this weekend especially we wish you a SAFE as well as happy holiday. Have to be extra careful with those fireworks under these extreme heat conditions. Stay cool and hydrated and we hope to see you soon.

It's been awhile since I forgot to post the specials and today was ALMOST one of the days. Alas, it is not and I will give you an abbreviated version of our specials that begin tomorrow.
1. Minestrone. Tomatoes, cannelini beans, zuchini, carrots, celery and small shells.
2. Mint Oreo Muffin. Mint extract and crushed Mint Oreo pieces in the batter as well as crumbled on top.
3. Veggie & Cheese omelet. Sundried tomatoes, roasted broccoli and cauliflower, all in our three egg omelet with cheddar.
4. Double French onion burger. Our Angus burger topped with caramelized onions, Swiss and mozzarella cheeses, and finished with fried onion straws.
Have a great weekend and week. Fourth of July will be here before you know it. We look forward to serving you soon.
