This is why we rebuild. 🧡
A building can change.
A kitchen can move.
A name can evolve.
But the mission behind every meal never changes.
Every tiffin you order, every thali we serve, every recipe we carry forward has always stood for something bigger than food.
It means rescue dogs sleeping safely.
Cows eating in shelter instead of searching through trash.
Families receiving one warm meal after a hard day.
Ardas is not just a new restaurant.
It is the rebuild of a system of kindness that keeps feeding lives.
Thank you for helping us protect the mission behind the meals. 🙏🏽

To our Guru’s family 💛
A lovely guest stopped by today with a Guru’s gift card for tiffin, and it reminded me to share this important update with everyone.
Although Guru’s is currently closed, please know that all previously purchased Guru’s gift cards will absolutely be honored at any location we reopen in the future.
At this time, our tiffin meals continue to remain strictly donation-based and are separate from restaurant gift cards, so gift cards cannot currently be applied toward tiffin donations.
Our next phase is taking a little longer than expected because of Chef’s current health condition, and we are deeply grateful for your patience as we navigate this season with care.
If you are unable to wait and would prefer a refund, please reach out to us at [email protected].
We intentionally did not advertise or sell gift cards during the last holiday season because we knew transition was ahead. However, we also understand many gift cards from previous years are still in our community.
Please hold onto them with confidence—they will be honored wherever Guru’s reopens next. 🙏🏽
Thank you for standing by us through the last five years of ups and downs, through adoption, rebuilding, and now this next chapter.
Your continued love, prayers, and patience mean more to us than words can ever say. đź’›

This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to share.
By 10 AM tomorrow, I have to leave the building that held so many memories, meals, and moments of community.
This space carried us through some of the most difficult seasons of our lives.
It helped us feed families, support our rescues, and keep purpose alive when life felt impossible.
Walking away from these walls is painful.
But sometimes letting go of a place is how you make room for something bigger.
This is not goodbye to what Guru’s stands for.
This is goodbye to one chapter of where it lived.
Thank you for every meal, every kind word, every tip that helped us feed lives beyond these walls, and every moment you stood by us.
Please stay with me through this transition.
The heart behind Guru’s is not going anywhere. 🧡
