In Philly we don’t call them sprinkles because “sprinkles." Around here they’re jimmies, and they’ve been that way since Benjamin Franklin.
Jimmies have attitude. Sprinkles politely sit on top of your cone like they’re waiting for permission; jimmies hit the ice cream like they’re diving into the mosh pit at an Eagles tailgate. Sprinkles are cute. Jimmies are Philly. Tough, chaotic, slightly aggressive sugar pellets that refuse to fall off even when your cone is melting down your arm like the Liberty Bell on a July afternoon.

📢 Annual reminder that we have NINE freezer & refrigerator compressors running in our shop.
(NO, having all these freezers does not make it cold inside, it makes it HOT, especially behind the counters where they are blowing out hot air.)
It will be warm, even though the air conditioner is running full blast.
Please be understanding of the temperature and our staff! They are in the shop for hours, not for a few minutes grabbing frozen treats.

To get to Acres Drive in Ridley Park, there are several options for transportation. For those who prefer public transport, take the train or bus to the Ridley Park Station and then walk east on Chester Pike until you reach Acres Drive.
For those driving, from the north take I-95 South and exit at Exit 9 towards Ridley Park. Turn right onto E Hinckley Ave and then turn left onto W Chester Pike. Turn right onto Acres Drive.
From the south, take I-95 North and exit at Exit 8 towards Ridley Park. Turn left onto Stewart Ave and then turn right onto W Chester Pike. Turn left onto Acres Drive.
