Dear Black Cat friends --
Our experience of owning and operating The Black Cat Tavern for the past 7 years can be best defined as nothing less than surreal and bizarre. So it seems fitting that as per surreal and bizarre circumstances, the Black Cat and our pierogi adventures are taking a surreal and bizarre direction.
Please join us for our last day of service at 12th & Oregon: Saturday, February 25th.
The Universe has decided to kick us in this new trajectory (more on that later), and we can merely follow along with immense gratitude in our hearts for the amazing guests, artists, performers and regulars we have come to know over the years, AND for *the* most wonderful, talented, & dedicated bar professionals who have tirelessly kept our business going strong -- THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!
We are looking forward to sharing the silver-lining of this, & the next chapter -- Follow us at: where we will continue the story very soon!
But for now I guess it's time to say Good-b... actually, instead let's stay true to our weird & wrap this with a quote from one of our favorite Simpson's episodes...
