NO, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS "HEAT LIGHTNING"
I often hear people say they witnessed “heat lightning” on hot summer nights (lightning, without rain or thunder, sparked by heat an humidity.) But, heat lightning is a myth.
That so-called "heat lightning" is just light from a distant thunderstorm reflected in clouds. You can see lightning from a thunderstorm as far 100 miles away. But, unless you're within 10 to 15 miles of the storm, you probably won't hear the thunder.

Additionally, their spaghetti dinner hosted by the Republican Party was a huge success and we look forward to more events like this in the future.
