Ever heard of RIT?
Rochester Institute of Technology.
5 RIT buddies started brewing in their garages 20 years ago.
Fun brewery name fact:
They started with well water from their property. Hence “Well Crafted”.
2 cans available this week:
Double Hop Monger – 8.4% ABV, Hazy Double IPA, sadly (or thankfully, knowing our staff), only available in 12 oz. cans. Thick dark color, with tasty bitter and citrus flavors. Hazy, but without that thick creamy “New Englandy” flavor and feel. Doesn’t taste like an 8+% ABV. (Maybe 12 oz portions work best for our team?)
Heygar – 7% ABV Hazy IPA (with creative can art included). Check out the can, and since you have it your hand already, take it to the register. Hoppy and bitter, and less fruity, but definitely an IPA. Available in 16 oz cans with cool funny art on the back. Pair it with a hoagie, burger, or other solid meal.

Evel Knievel West Coast Imperial IPA, 9% ABV, Destihl Brewery (Normal Illinois)
Brewed in: Normal, Illinois (only town in America named “normal”). One of a kind.
Brewed by: Matt Potts. Former Lawyer.
“Fun Lawyer” (Is there such a thing?) Fact: Matt started the brewery after receiving a home brew kit as a Christmas gift from his wife
“Fun Lawyer” Fact #2 (another one?) Matt had to get Illinois laws changed to legalize his brewpub.
Tribute to: Evel Knievel – One of a kind, 1970s Motorcycle Daredevil who performed 75 jumps over fountains, canyons, and busses, breaking over 400 bones along the way in his awesome white jumpsuit.
Tastes like: Strong, piney, hoppy, bitter (the good way), IPA. You can taste the strength of higher ABV while still getting “West Coasty” flavor.
Drink it: Slowly. Not for pounding or slamming or while riding your motorcycle. Especially if you plan to jump over 14 buses or a canyon on national TV
Evel Knievel quote: “A man can fall many times in life, but he’s never a failure if he tries to get up.” Our staff lives by this one after a rough night.
If you like this try others from Destihl, their “Dead Head” series.
