Barry's Steaks is a family-owned sandwich shop and fast food restaurant located on Leverington Avenue. With over 30 years of experience in making cheesesteaks, Barry's Steaks has added items such as mini cheesesteaks, specialty cheesesteaks, and their own branded soda to the menu. Founded by Roxborough native Barry McGuinn and his wife Wendy in July 1989, the restaurant has its roots in D'Alessandro’s where Barry learned the art of making cheesesteaks since 1967 before opening up his own place in 1994. Come and taste the authentic flavor of classic Philly cheesesteaks at Barry's Steaks.

To get to Leverington Avenue in Philadelphia, you can take the SEPTA Route 9 Bus or the Manayunk/Norristown Regional Rail line and get off at the Leverington Avenue Station. If driving, take the I-76 West and head towards Manayunk. Take exit 338 towards Ridge Ave and merge onto Green Lane. Turn left onto Ridge Ave and continue straight until you reach Leverington Avenue. Parking is available along the street and there are several parking lots nearby.
