🚨 BIG FIRESIDE NEWS 🚨
We’ve been gatekeeping a pretty huge announcement… but we figured it was finally time to spill the tea☕
If you’re part of the Fireside family-one of our regulars, a frequent flyer, or even brand new around here — If you’ve ever wondered how our kitchen keeps pumping out all that food every single day… honestly, sometimes we wonder too. 😂
What you don’t see is our kitchen crew basically playing a real-life game of Tetris back there. 😅
Picture this:👨🍳 4 cooks🧼 1 dishwasher🏃♂️ food runners, bartenders & servers flying in and out…all packed into a kitchen smaller than most people probably imagine. Shoebox style but we make it work. And luckily we’re a close crew. Like really close after being in there together. Lots of shimmy and shaking going on back there.
After a year-long process and zoning hearing…
✅ WE GOT APPROVED TO EXPAND OUR KITCHEN! ✅
This is going to help us tremendously in all areas including Improving timeliness👨🍳 and Giving our hardworking staff the space they deserve and you our customers an even better experience.
We still have a few more township steps before the project starts, but we’re officially moving in the right direction and couldn’t be more excited.
We seriously can’t thank you guys enough for keeping us this busy and supporting us through every stage of growth. ❤️🍻 we told you we weren’t done yet on keeping this little neighborhood bar the feasterville gem it deserves to be!
Stay tuned because there’s more in the works as well… just don’t tell My husband🤣🤣🤷🏻♀️

This weekend we’re saying farewell to a true Fireside legend… Erica Was 🍻❤️ as she’s moving away.
11 years ago, Erica was actually the bartender who trained me the fireside way when i started. She later became my Saturday night inside-bar partner for two years. We had a lot of fun laughs and we worked so well together. Covid happened shifts got lost and we lost a decent amount of our solid crew.
The second I signed the agreement for Fireside, there was absolutely no chance I wasn’t trying to bring Erica home where she belonged. Luckily for us, she was just as excited to come back.
Unfortunately for all of us Erica is moving out of the area. We’re so happy for her new adventures. We’re going to miss her tremendously — her laughs, her patience, her ability to somehow keep everyone in line while also being part of the fun!
Erica, you’ll always be Fireside family and you’ll always have a place behind our bar. 🍻🔥Go see her on one her last two shifts tonight and tomorrow.

To get to Elmwood Avenue in Feasterville, there are a few options for public transportation. You can take the SEPTA Regional Rail Line to the Trevose station and then transfer to a bus that stops on Street Road, which is a short walk from Elmwood Avenue. Another option is to take the SEPTA bus that goes directly from Center City Philadelphia to Feasterville.
If you prefer to drive, there is ample parking available on Elmwood Avenue and nearby streets. From Philadelphia, take I-95 North and exit at Street Road (Exit 37). Turn left onto Street Road and continue for about 2 miles until you reach Elmwood Avenue. Turn right onto Elmwood Avenue and Fireside Smokehouse will be on your left.
