We're looking to be nominated and hopefully win "Best of Delco" again in 2026 for Cheesesteaks specifically, but you have to choose 3 categories to enter into the contest. Founded by the Mullan Brothers in 1974, Leo's Steak Shop established a unique, yet legendary storefront that put Delco on the map, offering one of the best rivaled Philly cheesesteaks outside of Philadelphia. Located at the Sharon Hill trolley stop in 1974 the brothers created the best steaks and sandwiches known to Delaware County at the time. Due to increase demand and limited space, 12 years later, Leo’s Steak Shop moved to the corner of Chester Pike and Burton Lane in 1986. Leo’s Steak Shop has been voted “Best of Philly” and “Best in Delaware County” several times, year after year. Today the legacy is carried on by the youngest brother, Steve Mullan. His mission is, and has always been, to provide the highest quality steak sandwiches to the Delco area and beyond. Their steaks are made of quality meats and cheeses, served on fresh rolls made daily. Today we celebrate their hard work and their most valued customer loyalty over the past 52 years.
