There might be rain in the forecast, but we’re prepared! Just like last year, we’ll have extra tents and plenty of shelter to keep the DJP Fall Festival fun going.

We recently had the opportunity to sit down with Paul, Matt and Mike to learn all about their late friend, Dan, who was tragically taken too soon.

This October 11th would have been close to Dan’s 40th birthday. In his memory, Dan’s friends and family have made it their mission to keep his name and spirit alive through the 33 Deeds for Dan initiative for the past 6 years.

Through the DJP Organization, they have already funded 33 impactful community projects—from helping a school plant a garden and equipping school counselors with essential sensory items, to purchasing life-changing wheelchairs.

Dan may no longer be with us, but his legacy of kindness continues to grow. Talking with his friends, it’s easy to imagine Dan looking down with a huge smile—wearing his favorite sports jersey and khaki cargo shorts, enjoying a Steve’s Steak, and seeing the incredible difference his memory is making in the world.

We hope to see you there at the 6th annual DJP fall fest at Graeme Park from 12-5 to celebrate Dan’s life! Steves Prince of Steaks food truck will be there and can’t wait to partake in this remarkable event!
