Join us for an evening with author Courtney Maum in our private dining room!
Our executive chef, Ryan LaFrance, has transformed her newest novel “Alan Opts Out” into an inspired 5 course menu and will be preparing all of the dishes in the space.
Tickets include a copy f the novel, food, tax, and gratuity. Proceeds from the dinner will be donated to Work to Ride, an equestrian program for kids in Philadelphia that helps to promote self-discipline, motivation, social & life skills through long term participation.

Four Years of Wilder ❤️🔥❤️🔥
It will be four years since we opened this weekend! The amount of gratitude for everything & everyone and excitement for what’s to come is hard to capture in words. Our team, food, beverage & hospitality has never been better.
Starting Friday, and all weekend long, we are celebrating with food & drink specials plus a special t-shirt for sale designed by If you don’t know Perry - check him out. He makes amazing art for musician, is Grammy nominated for his album art and has an insane t-shirt collection with a special Philadelphia t-shirt section.

is a women-run creamery in Oley, PA who makes phenomenal cheeses like the Thistle we are showcasing! 🧀
The Bessie is a riff off of a classic paperplane & is named after Bessie Coleman, the first African American Female to get her international aviator license. The cocktail also features 3 women owned/produced spirits.

Earlier this year, We wanted to refresh our branding and menus a bit. We didn’t want a whole new design, but rather an update and refresh to where we are now as a restaurant and people.
I was looking around to see who we should get to help us and a friend of mine introduced me to Anthony (Tony). Tony was born and raised in Philadelphia and moved to Amsterdam several years ago and has been there since. After our first phone call, we knew Tony was the right person for the job. He got what we are about, what we were looking for, and we just clicked. Plus, we know a lot of the same people from growing up in the same music scene in Philly.
Connections are important - and it shows. We couldn’t be happier with the end product! 😊
We incorporated some our favorite elements of the restaurant design, including the hand, painted sign done by Nicole as seen on the front of our menus and of course, Jefferson is alive and well. 🐆🐆

To get to Sansom Street in Philadelphia, you can take the SEPTA bus or subway depending on your location. If you're taking the subway, take the Market-Frankford Line (Blue Line) and get off at 15th Street Station. From there, walk eastward towards Sansom Street.
If you prefer to drive, there are parking lots and garages available along Sansom Street and its nearby streets. However, please note that parking can be limited and may come with a fee.

Wilder Restaurant is a creative and seasonal neighborhood gem located on Sansom Street in Philadelphia's Rittenhouse. The restaurant has a lot to offer, from their delicious lobster risotto to their unique cocktails like the Piña en Regalia, which is a Wilder spin on a Singapore Sling with a Zappa vibe. The syrup used in this cocktail is made with Demerara sugar amplified with the added aromatics of orange zest, star anise, coriander, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves & a dash of for good measure. Wilder's beverage manager Tom also hosts classes to up your cocktail-making game. The restaurant's menu development is taken very seriously by their Best New Chef who works hard to create delectable dishes that are sure to please any palate.
