Good morning everyone. We opened online orders at 9pm last night and by 10pm we had to shut it off again. We got so many orders that we couldn't responsibly take anymore. Wondering if this is how Kim Kardashian felt when she broke the Internet. If you try to call between 12:30 and 1pm we might be able to squeeze a couple of more orders in for pickup between 1:30 and 4. Thank you all. Really made us feel like we were going out on top!

Our online ordering is turned back on for Sunday pre-orders. I have a feeling we won't be accepting orders too far into the day tomorrow. We had to cut off orders around 2pm today because there was just so many of them. Some good news, we are bringing back the Korean Sloppy Joe for our final day. I love these.

Sorry folks. We really want to make everyone happy but we simply can't take any more orders today. We will be in a "rush" until we close tonight. Don't worry, if you already placed an order, we are making it for you. The response from this community has been overwhelming. We will miss you so badly.
Tomorrow will be our last day. We will allow pre-orders starting at 9:15pm tonight. If you want one last order, please place an advance order on our website after 9:15.

Dear Friends and Family:
This will be Banh Streetâs last weekend. We will close our doors for good when the clock strikes 8pm on Sunday. We are so proud that for nearly seven years Banh Street has been able to serve the Glenside, Ambler and Conshohocken neighborhoodâs amazing food that mashed up Vietnamese, Hispanic and Philadelphia food cultures in a uniquely delicious and creative way. Itâs because of our great team and fantastic customers that we have been able to successfully operate a small business, provide jobs and support much needed local non-profits, first responders and frontline workers. There are just too many challenges in the current environment with Covid/Delta, staffing challenges and massively elevated food costs to make this labor of love viable in the near term. We didnât want to just close on Sunday without letting you know in advance. Itâs our greatest wish that you might have one more meal from Banh Street before we say good-bye. We have tried to be as responsible as possible - our staff has been offered jobs in our other businesses and all of our vendors will be 100% paid in full. We are incredibly grateful and humbled by the support you have given us over the years and we hope to see you over the next few days.
Most Sincerely,
The Banh Street Team

What people say
Banh Street is a must-visit sandwich shop located on E 1st Avenue in Conshohocken. This take-out Banh Mi shop offers a wide range of Vietnamese Hoagies, Asian Street Tacos, Rice Bowls, Double Fried Chicken, Salads, Pho & Bao Buns that will leave you craving for more. It's no surprise that they have won the Best of Ambler and Best of Glenside awards.
What sets Banh Street apart from other sandwich shops is their commitment to using only the freshest ingredients. They source their fish sauce straight from Saigon and use all-natural chickens and eggs from Lancaster County. Their baguettes are baked in South Philly and everything is made fresh to order. The meats and tofu are marinated and charbroiled or seared using very little oils.
But what really makes Banh Street stand out is their chef's approach to pairing traditional aromatic Vietnamese flavors with the rich, succulent flavors of the American grill. The result is a light, refreshing sandwich that provides the perfect intersection for these two great culinary mediums. With over fifteen years of true southern BBQ experience, their founder and chef has a passion for combining his experience with Asian cuisine to create something truly unique.
Whether you're a longtime fan of Vietnamese cuisine or brand new to the scene, Banh Street promises an unforgettable dining experience. So head on over to E 1st Avenue in Conshohocken and indulge in some of the best sandwiches you'll ever taste!
