We learned this week that September 1 is National Burnt Ends Day, and ok wow! Who knew such a day exists?
For us, every Friday is Burnt Ends Friday (aka Burnt Ends Day) with North By Texas (NXTX) Burnt Ends in-house. Swing by this morning for a Burnt Ends Egg and Cheese or a Smokin’ Carinne, or both!

Take a seat and dig into a Bacon Bowl — refried beans, bacon, broccoli, cheddar, avocado, and a fried egg. If you haven't had one of our breakfast bowls, today's the day!

Breakfast tacos, better bowls, and something refreshing to wash it all down.

I can’t remember ever being hit so hard by the death of a famous person. I got the 💔 text from Carinne, raced to google, and crumpled. Bent over a pot of refried beans I was coaxing along, tears streamed down. I know I love this woman but I didn’t know how deep it goes until yesterday. Do I wish she had taken a more defined stand for progressive values, yes. Yes I do. But to care for your fellow human, ALL your fellow humans, something we strive to do every day, is the most beautiful cause I know of. And Dolly is that for me. How could the smartest, most talented person in every room she entered, suffer the foolish men who surrounded her?? HOW?!! I guess it was through music. Through love and music. And that music is all I want to listen to today.
