✨From our founder, Nano✨

Jen + Joseph Strickland and Terri Hannifin are my mentors, my brother and sisters in pizza, my friends, and the family I found living in Austin from 2004-2019.

They hired me as the first employee at in 2005 and gave me the best education anyone could ever ask for. Lessons in restaurant operations, in life choices, in the importance of a perfect balance between crust, sauce, and cheese.

They came to Philly to see me and to see Taco Heart. You better believe I cried feeling the weight and meaning of them seeing our little corner at 7th and Passyunk. I will never stop admiring them. Individually and collectively.

Thanks J, J + T. For trusting me even as I made mistakes, for teaching me even when it made your lives harder. For taking the time to come have a taco in Philly.

It took us a long time to accept this truth, but the fiddle leaf that gives life to our weird little triangle of a room must go.

No! You say. I know I know, but yes, it’s true. Something to do with airflow and effective heating and cooling of the space (a huge and expensive challenge) blah blah blah….

It is now for sale to the highest bidder. We’re gonna do this like a silent auction. Bidding starts at $250 (includes the plant and giant pot). DM us with your best offer and on Friday the 13th, we will let you know if it’s yours.

It is 9 feet tall and 6 feet at its widest. I know there is a room in one of your homes that is yearning for something this beautiful to light it up! The planter alone cost over $200 when we bought it. Transportation is on you, but we’ll definitely help you get it out the door and into your truck.

Needs lots of light!! Please give her a loving home...
