We would like to take this time to thank everyone who came out to the Summer at Courtyard Block Party Fundraiser on Saturday May 16th! It was a huge success as we were able to help raise over $10,000 for this fundraiser!! Thank you to all who came out!! It looked like you all had a great time! This was another great event to bring the community together for such a great cause!! And Happy 41st Anniversary to the New Wave Cafe! Here’s to many more and more events like this in the future!!!

We have a dilemma and we want to hear from you guys( our beloved patrons & guest). Game 2 of the Flyers/ Hurricanes playoff series is tomorrow. The 2nd round of the NBA playoffs starts tomorrow featuring our 76ers as they take on the Knicks. We normally post Quizo on Monday nights. If we cancel tomorrow it would be the third week in a row that we cancelled it. We know everyone is really consumed with our sports teams. Last week we canceled and many of you didn’t show up to watch game 5 of the Flyers/ Penguins series. And we know a lot of people were disappointed that we canceled quizo! So we are putting the decision in your hands!! Let us know what we should do. Post your thoughts in the comments section!! Thanks! Go Flyers. Go Sixers! Regardless of what you write we are still showing the games!!!!

To get to S 3rd Street in Philadelphia, there are several options for public transport and driving/parking.

Public transport:
- Take the SEPTA Market-Frankford Line (blue line) to either 2nd Street Station or 5th Street Station. From there, it's a short walk to S 3rd Street.
- Take the SEPTA Bus Route 47 to the intersection of S 3rd and Lombard Streets.

Driving/Parking:
- From I-95, take Exit 22 toward Center City. Follow signs for Independence Hall/Lincoln Financial Field, then turn right onto S Broad Street. Turn left onto Pine Street, then left onto S 3rd Street.
- There is street parking available on S 3rd and nearby streets, or there are several paid parking garages within a few blocks of the area.
