What people say
Khyber Pass Pub is a must-visit spot for anyone looking for an authentic Cajun gastropub experience in Philadelphia. This historic Old City tavern boasts a beautiful bar handcrafted in 1876 and has been recognized as one of Philadelphia Magazine's Best of Philly winners in 2011. The menu features an extensive selection of craft beers, hickory-smoked barbecue, and authentic New Orleans specialties, including vegan and vegetarian options.
What sets Khyber Pass Pub apart from other pubs is their commitment to innovation and creativity. They regularly introduce new drinks and dishes that keep customers coming back for more. For instance, they recently introduced the first of their rotating frozen drinks - the Jungle Bird - which is made with Captain Morgan white rum, dark rum, Campari, Aperol, pineapple juice & lime juice. They also hosted a brunch party during Beer Week featuring egg dishes from Michigan, Colorado, and Spain paired with beers from Founders, Avery, Mahou, and some brunch beer cocktails.
Overall, Khyber Pass Pub is a fantastic spot to grab a drink or bite to eat with friends or family. With its rich history and commitment to innovation and creativity, it's no wonder why it's considered one of Philadelphia's oldest bars and a beloved local gem.
