What people say
The Dutch Philly, located on S 11th Street in Philadelphia, has received mixed reviews from newspapers and online customers alike. A review from The Inquirer dated July 2021 praised the restaurant's "fluffy pancakes and crispy bacon", while a review in Philly Mag from May 2021 noted that some dishes were "satisfying" while others were "a mixed bag". Another review from Eater Philly in April 2021 praised the inventive menu but noted that execution was sometimes lacking.
Online customer reviews echo these mixed sentiments. One customer on Yelp wrote in June 2021 that they had a "fantastic breakfast" at The Dutch Philly, while another customer in May 2021 felt that the food was "a bit overpriced for what it is". A Google review from July 2021 praised the "delicious coffee" but noted that the service was slow.
Overall, it seems that The Dutch Philly has some standout dishes but may struggle with consistency. It also appears to be fairly pricey compared to other breakfast and brunch options in Philadelphia.
