Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is a popular chain of ice cream parlors with over 600 shops across 31 states, offering a variety of frozen treats including its famous Italian Ice made fresh daily, Frozen Custard, Milkshakes, Sundaes, CustardCookie Sandwiches, layered Gelati as well as signature Misto and Blendini creations. Started in 1984 by Bob Tumolo and his mother in Bensalem, PA with the goal of earning some extra income by selling their own Italian Ice recipe. Today Rita's continues to bring happiness with its delicious and refreshing treats still made fresh every day with real fruit.
