Two hundred and fifty years ago, this country got its start in our backyard 🇺🇸
We thought that deserved a proper cup.
Introducing the Founders Blend - a limited commemorative release for America’s 250th, roasted in and packed in a collectible tin worth holding onto. We built the profile around the flavors of an American summer: cherry, lemon, berry, and just enough caramel to tie it together.
Available now online and in all our cafes.

The Guatemala Vides Family Microlot is here and it's a special one.
Unlike our standard offerings, this is a microlot: a small, isolated section of a single farm harvested and processed completely separately from the rest of the crop. The yields are inherently limited, the labor is more intensive at every stage, and the level of care from cherry to cup is extraordinary. That is why it comes in a 6oz bag and why it is priced the way it is. You are not paying for more coffee. You are paying for better coffee.
Grown at 1900 meters in Huehuetenango, Guatemala by Renardo "Nayo" Ovalle of the Vides58 family. Pre-fermented for 72 hours, washed, and dried on the patio for 12 days. Green apple, jasmine, and a finish of pure sugar cookie. Available exclusively online while supplies last.

Today we're launching Field Notes, a journal from the people behind Rival Bros.
Field Notes #01: Chapín is written by Co-Founder Jonathan Adams, documenting a trip he and Director of Coffee Christopher Miller took to Huehuetenango, Guatemala last winter to visit Vides58, one of the most respected coffee producing families in Central America. Over four days they toured the farm, observed the processing operation, and sat down for a cupping session that produced a microlot we're releasing today.
For us, going to origin is not just about sourcing great coffee. It is about understanding the full picture: the land, the people, the process, and the relationships that make specialty coffee worth doing. Field Notes is how we share that.

We're excited to share two new single-origins that just landed at Rival Bros.
Last August, Co-Founder Damien and our Director of Coffee Chris traveled to the Huila region of Colombia to meet the producers behind our newest addition, the Colombia Alma Negra Natural. What they found were 45 dedicated farmers across Pitalito, Palestina, and Oporapa who handcraft every lot with care and respect for the land. A slow 25 to 32-day natural dry process produces a cup with raspberry, caramel, and milk chocolate notes that reflects exactly how much intention went into it.
We're also introducing the Peru Yuracmayo Washed from Cusco. This lot comes from 18 indigenous Quechua families in a remote highland community that only gained road access this year. Tucked inside the buffer zone of UNESCO World Heritage-listed Manu National Park, these families have worked this land for centuries. Limited production. When it's gone, it's gone.
Both are available now online and in our cafes. We think you're going to love them.

Spring coffee drop at Rival Bros.
We’re introducing our Spring Champion, the latest seasonal release in our rotating Champion series. This blend is built to be bright, balanced, and easy to reach for every day, with notes of stone fruit, caramel sweetness, and citrus. A portion of every bag sold continues to support community initiatives through our Champion give-back program.
Alongside it is a new single-origin release: Rwanda Nyampinga – Washed. Produced by the Nyampinga Women’s Cooperative in Rwanda’s Southern Province, this coffee showcases the clarity Rwanda is known for, with tasting notes of raisin, almond butter, and lime.
Both coffees are now available online and across our cafes in Philly.

Rival Bros Coffee on Lombard Street is the perfect spot for coffee lovers in Philadelphia. Their Black Top nitro cold brew is a must-try for anyone looking to stay productive and energized throughout the day. But if you're not in the mood for coffee, their Nitro Hibiscus Lemonade is a refreshing alternative that's guaranteed to hit the spot on a hot city day. And if you're feeling hungry, Rival Bros Coffee has got you covered with their vegan jerky, which pairs perfectly with their hand-poured coffee and related artwork. But what really sets Rival Bros Coffee apart is their Upper Cut, a delicious take on the classic "coffee, milk and sugar" that makes use of caramel notes found in brown sugar and contains plenty of caffeine to keep you going. Whether you grab and go or purchase a pack online, Rival Bros Coffee is sure to satisfy your cravings.
