Well it may not be green, but our Tomato Pie does pair well with a good football game! And today you can get a quarter sheet portion—4 slices. Whether heated up or served room temp, this pie will just as delicious at kick-off or halftime. And feel free to request a sprinkling of Romano (contains dairy).
We’ve got all the other things today as well including our Black and White Special and fried-to-order Apple Cider Donuts (V).
The rain has let up here in South Philly and the sun will hopefully be out soon, so come grab some tomato pie, maybe a double order of Popcorn Chicken and The Riz, some donuts for dessert and you’re in for a pretty sweet Sunday evening. We’ve been having fun with chocolate in the kitchen this week and developed a decadent chocolate pasty cream for this weekend’s special that we’re pretty stoked about. So check out our Black and White donut—filled with chocolate pastry cream AND our vanilla custard cream, topped with vanilla and chocolate glazes. Delish. Available all weekend.

Happy Fall! Okay, it’s still technically summer, but autumnal vibes are in the air—and our September lineup is ready for you!
This month, we’ve got:
Carrot Cake — Spiced carrot cake with cream cheese glaze and candied carrot topping
Viet Coffee — Coffee donut with a Vietnamese coffee-inspired glaze and espresso ring
Lavender Strawberry (V) — Lavender-infused vegan cake with strawberry glaze and lavender drizzle
Apple Cider (V) — Our fall classic: vegan apple cake coated in cinnamon sugar
This time around, we’ll be frying the Apple Cider donuts to order. We’re pretty sure you’ll find the five-minute wait worth it when you bite into a warm cider donut on one of those early fall days.
These seasonal flavors join our standard lineup: Chocolate (V) and Birthday Cake cake donuts; fry-to-order Raised donuts with your choice of powdered sugar or maple, chocolate, or lemon glaze; Crème Brûlée; Boston Cream; and Jelly Donuts.
We’ve got all sorts of good stuff coming your way this month, including sweet and savory specials and new Frozen Favorites releases. And don’t forget: packaged Riz and Popcorn Chicken are now available frozen to reheat at home. Preorder them through our online ordering page or pick them up at the window.

Here at Okie Dokie, we love being able to make fresh sweets and snacks to order for y’all. But we also understand that sometimes the craving hits outside of our business hours.
So, if you’ve got a little room in your freezer and want to keep some Okie Dokie on hand for your next snack attack, we’ve got you covered with our new line of Freezer Favorites!
Starting with The Riz and Popcorn Chicken this weekend, we’ll be adding more sweet and savory treats in the coming weeks—all ready to stash in your home freezer and heat up whenever your wonderful heart desires.
Most items, including The Riz and Popcorn Chicken, can be reheated in about 10 minutes using an air fryer, oven, or toaster oven. Complete reheating instructions are included on the packaging.
Want some of our dipping sauces? Most of them unfortunately don’t take particularly well to freezing, so they aren’t automatically included with our frozen savory snacks. But our full lineup of sauces is available refrigerated and can be added to your order.
Available for pre-order, with limited quantities for walk-ups. Shipping availability will be announced in September, and a full roster of Okie Dokie provisions will be available at our upcoming retail annex—hopefully in time for the holidays!

Good morning and Happy Friday! We’ve got a lovely special this today through this last weekend of August—The Chocolate Tahini Marble. It’s a chocolate yeast donut with tahini glaze, tahini toffee crumble, chocolate drizzle, and a cold brew tahini mousse. It will be available today through Sunday along with our August cake donuts.
And for some fun news—we’re expanding our South Philly footprint this Fall! We’ve signed a lease at the space adjacent to us and have just begun renovations to make an Okie Dokie retail outlet where you’ll be able to stock up on fresh and frozen GF items for home. We’re excited to get to work cleaning, renovating, and stocking our new space and will share lots more details soon about that and new product launches coming in September.
So come on by, grab some donuts, a snack, and maybe a sandwich to help sweeten the last weekend of August.

Good morning and happy Friday!
We’ve got a fun donut special for you today that we’re calling “Banana Sundae Fundae”
A yeast donut filled with lightly caramelized banana deliciousness, topped with chocolate glaze, whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, “banana” sprinkles, and a slice of fresh strawberry. A summer treat for all kids of all ages. It’ll be here all weekend so come on through!
But before dessert you might like lunch. In addition to our usual lineup, starting today and through the weekend we also have a Black Forest Ham and Swiss Cheese grilled sandwich, with dill pickles and a smear of mustard, it comes together quite nicely.
And just a reminder you’ve got two weekends left this month to snag our August flavors before we start gearing up for Fall!

We’ve decided to step up our sandwich game here at Okie Dokie—so naturally, we went out and bought ourselves a deli slicer.
That’s right! Thinly sliced meats and cheeses piled onto our house-made, gluten-free sandwich bread are coming your way!
First up, the Reuben is back. Featuring hand-trimmed, thinly sliced corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, house-made Russian dressing, and a swipe of deli mustard on toasted, caraway-seeded bread. Grab a napkin for this one.
Looking for something to share? Try our Loaded Reuben Fries: house-cut French fries piled with corned beef, sauerkraut, melted Swiss, Russian dressing, and deli mustard. Also grab a napkin. And a fork. It’s worth it.
Lastly, have you tried our Jelly Donut yet? Apparently, it may land us in prison. But that’s a risk we’re willing to take to keep on providing food made with love for ya’ll.

Good morning and happy Thursday! We have a new special for ya’ll to try out this week—a Banana Fritter. Apparently this has been a decade in the making! Alex, who is one of our core pastry team members, was working at a California donut shop 10 years ago and starting thinking about Bananas Foster in donut form. Now, we’re not billing this as that exactly, but with fresh bananas caramelized in brown sugar and rum and a banana glaze finish—we’re pretty sure it’ll be a new favorite treat for all the banana lovers out there.
And August is always a good month for the team to do some creative experimenting, so keep an eye out for other new specials and standard menu items debuting throughout the rest of Summer and Fall.
Meanwhile, our August cake donut flavors are all available along with savory snacks and sandwiches, so come on down to South Philly and say hi!

Good morning! We just finished whipping up a new special donut for the weekend and, well, we’re pretty happy with it.
We’re calling it Orange Ya Glad?—and we think you ought to try it. It’s a Creamsicle-inspired filled donut made with fresh orange-vanilla cream, a vanilla glaze, and fresh-orange zest icing. Refreshing, creamy, and maybe a touch nostalgic for some of us of a certain age. (Orange Julius, anyone?)
So come on down, say hi, and grab a special! Of course, we’ll also have our full donut menu featuring August’s flavors, plus breakfast sliders and sandwiches and our complete snack and sandwich lineup.
And speaking of sandwiches, don’t snooze on our latest sleeper hit: the Creamy Garlic Chicken Sammy. If you’re a garlic fan, you really ought to try it. The garlic sauce (toum) also makes a great dip for our popcorn chicken and fries—so if you’re not feeling a whole sandwich, you’ve still got garlic options.

Sometimes a chef is presented with an ingredient—particularly when it comes to produce—that simply sings. It does most of the heavy lifting; we just need to clear a path for it with a solid supporting cast.
This wasn’t one of those times. At least, not at first.
Our peaches arrived last week hard as rocks and nearly flavorless. So we waited. And waited. Then, a week later, it finally happened—they came to life!
And so we present our Summer Peach Special: yeasted dough filled with gently cooked fresh peaches, topped with vanilla-peach glaze and a bit of crumble for a hint of peach cobbler. 🍑
It’s today’s special. Maybe it’ll be here all week?

🍋 Limonada: Lime cake with lime condensed milk glaze and a bright lime drizzle
🫐 Berry Bonanza (V): Vegan strawberry cake with mixed berry glaze and nonpareils
🫖 Earl Grey Cheesecake: Earl Grey–ricotta cake with cream cheese glaze and a touch of crumble
🍁 Maple Coffee Cake (V): Vegan cinnamon cake with maple glaze and cinnamon crumble
