A special thank you to Pastor Waller for taking the time to sit down and interview me. It was truly an honor to share our story, reflect on this entrepreneurial journey, and discuss lessons learned along the way.
Building Dre’s Water Ice & Ice Cream has been one of the most rewarding and challenging experiences of my life. Through every long day, setback, victory, and milestone, there has been one constant, my wife!
There is no way I could have navigated this journey without her by my side every step of the way. Her belief in our vision, unwavering support, countless sacrifices, and partnership have been the foundation of everything we've built together.
This journey has never been about one person it has always been about faith, family, community, and perseverance. I'm grateful for every opportunity to share our story and inspire others to keep going, even when the road isn't easy.

Dre’s Water Ice & Ice Cream was featured by CBS News while serving at the PGA Championship and for us, this was so much bigger than selling water ice. This was history, legacy, and representation all in one moment.
Coming from West Philly, we built this brand from the ground up with faith, sacrifice, long nights, and a dream that one day our community would see what’s possible. To now be standing at one of the biggest sporting events in the world, with national media telling our story, is
something we’ll never take for granted. As a Black-owned business from Philadelphia, moments like this remind us why representation matters.
To stand in spaces that once lacked diversity and now be able to serve our product with pride is truly unforgettable. Thank you to CBS News for highlighting our journey, thank you to the PGA Championship for the opportunity, and thank you to every single person who has supported Dre’s along the way. Y’all helped make this moment possible.

For the ice cream shop, take the SEPTA bus 32 or 33 to the intersection of Girard Avenue and Frankford Avenue. The shop is located on the corner.
For the ice cream parlor, take the MFL (subway) or SEPTA Regional Rail to 15th Street Station. Walk one block north on 15th Street and turn left onto Chestnut Street. The parlor is located on the next block.
