We want to thank the African American Chamber of Commerce for selecting Dre’s Water Ice & Ice Cream to speak with Councilmember Nina Ahmad on behalf of Philadelphia’s small business vendors. ❤️
As a small business owner, I understand firsthand the challenges that come with doing business in the city, especially when it comes to vendor licenses, permits, and the fees associated with participating in events. These are real challenges that can make it harder for small businesses to grow and take advantage of opportunities right here in our own city.
We appreciate the opportunity to share our experiences, speak up for fellow vendors, and be part of a conversation about how we can work together to make things more accessible and affordable for small businesses.
Small businesses deserve a seat at the table, and their voices deserve to be heard.
Thank you to the Chamber for creating this opportunity and for continuing to support the businesses that help make Philadelphia what it is. We’re proud to be part of the conversation and hopeful about what can come from it. 🤝🏾❤️
