Miami comes to Philadelphia!
Chef Greg & Chef Aaron Brooks have crossed paths in each other’s kitchens for a few years now - from Miami and Philadelphia to cooking together at Reed’s Farm.
On Thursday, September 10, Aaron (pictured center) brings the Sunny's Steakhouse team to Vernick Fish for one night with Greg, Chef Dave Paterniti and Lead Bartender Jon Bamonte.
Dinner is served family-style, with tuna crudo with foie gras & Concord grape, spicy pork rigatoni, roasted turbot with blue crab imperial, wagyu striploin and more - plus cocktails from Sunny’s Lead Bartender Will Thompson and Jon throughout the night.

While France readies to compete on the world stage this week, we’re headed to the countryside on July 22!
A handful of seats remain for this next installment of our Summer Through France wine dinner series at Vernick Wine as we explore the rustic flavors of the Southwest. Enjoy a menu of smoked duck breast, piperade with confit egg yolk, Toulouse sausage and a plum & almond Jésuite tart to finish. Each course is paired with wines from the region.
The evening begins at 6:30pm with sparkling wine and hors d’oeuvre before guests gather around our communal table for a dinner party-style experience. Book by visiting https://bit.ly/4vZwoWb 🇫🇷

Join our longtime neighbors at Nature's Gallery and our Event Manager, Isabella, for a Saturday afternoon of flowers, wine & summer entertaining inspiration.
We first connected with Gabriella & her team while looking for a nearby florist and over the years have become steady collaborators. We've always admired their warmth, creativity & work. Their shop is just steps from us at 21st & Walnut - that neighborhood connection has only grown!
During the hands-on workshop, Gabriella will guide guests through creating a seasonal arrangement to take home while sharing tips on flower selection, design & care.
Your reservation includes the workshop, your finished arrangement, cheese & vegetable crudité, wine & 10% off retail wine purchases.

Greg was featured in a recent Substack from Island Creek Oysters. He's worked with ICO oysters since his time cooking in Boston kitchens, so this one felt especially meaningful. Thanks to their team for the conversation & longtime partnership! 🦪
Restaurant recommendations, kitchen wisdom, and an insane oyster condiment from one of Philly's best chefs.
